IMTS Press Luncheon

For more than 20 years, G. Temple has hosted a press luncheon for editors and publishers of the manufacturing trade press at the International Machine Tool Show (IMTS) in Chicago. This premier event ensures your new product information and important announcements are delivered directly to the people who make the news, accelerating coverage of your company's publicity efforts. It also helps build editor relationships, paving the way for future editorial cooperation.

A cocktail reception precedes the luncheon where nothing is left to chance. We match your message with the most appropriate editors and facilitate introductions so a dialogue can flow. Many clients feel this part alone is worth the price of admission!

Seating at the luncheon is pre-determined, with optimal groups of eight to foster discussions of mutual interests. A formal introduction of the sponsoring companies is made along with a brief A/V presentation featuring your company's hot topic. All press materials are included on a CD or DVD and are given to attendees when they leave. G. Temple follows up on all requests and ensures that all editors, even ones that could not attend, receive your information.

THE RESULTS:
The last event held in 2006 gathered 36 editors from 24 different publications. Hundreds of press clippings were generated and client response has always been positive. See what two multi-year sponsors have to say about this event:

"As always, you have done a fantastic job of wiring this event together for Carlos/Kennametal. I'm deeply grateful."

NMW Press Reception

National Manufacturing Week offers six shows in one location, drawing over 200 trade editors to the event. G. Temple uses this opportunity to host an informal reception for clients and editors designed to build one-on-one relationships between your company and the publications you are targeting for editorial coverage.

Editors tell us that they like this kind of gathering since it offers interaction with many industry leaders in a single location without the distractions of the show floor. Small display areas are provided for each participating client and all press materials are supplied on CD or DVD.

We are also frequently called upon to orchestrate face-to-face interviews with your company's top executives. Much can be accomplished in even the tightest of timeframes with the strong media relations and reputation for quality editorial content that G. Temple enjoys.

"This is quite a full schedule… better than I possibly imagined at this late date! G. Temple delivers again - as always!"
